Homayoun Khatami is an experienced energy engineer with specialty in Measurement and Verification (M&V), energy data analysis, building wide functional performance tests for commissioning, and LEED projects.

Being a Certified Energy Manager(CEM) and CMVP, he is hands-on in mapping project HVAC, electrical, lighting and control systems and applying them for a variety of savings opportunities and functional performance improvement. As an M&V and metering systems architect, he has led M&V projects from design to implementation. As a Certified Project Management Professional and Certified Management Consultant, Homay has acquired diverse knowledge of project delivery optimization, time management, stakeholders engagement and client satisfaction. His university degrees in engineering and economics have made him an asset to come up with both technical and financial sides of engagements in the last 16 years. Previously, Homay served as technical business development representative and marketing strategist for two EMIS and energy data management companies in Vancouver, with working experience in International government organizations. He is active with professional NFP organizations in BC, currently Vice Chair of BCSEA Vancouver chapter and IEBCA, and presented a few lectures on energy generation topics and energy efficiency at international and local forums.
